Hingham Girls Basketball Summer Camp!

The HGBA Board of Directors is excited to announce the first official season of the Hingham Girls Summer Basketball League!  We are opening registration to all HGBA players currently in grades 3rd - 8th to participate in what should be a fun filled summer season. 

We will be entering up to two teams per grade into the Starland Summer League.  There we will face off against other teams from the south shore and cape.  This is travel level competition but is all about development.  We require equal playing time across the board, rotation of starters and encourage players to expand their games by trying new moves and taking more shots! 

The season runs June 12th to August 13th with no games 7/1 through 7/4 nor 7/31.  Each game will consist of four 10-minute quarters or two 20-minute halves with running time. Each game will have two certified IAABO officials.  Games will start between 4:30p -10:00p, Mon – Thurs and 10:00a – 8:00p on Sundays with no games Fridays or Saturdays.  There will be one game a week and occasionally two but there will not be any practices for the season, just the games at Starland.

The cost for the season is $125

Uniforms: For current grades 4th - 8th we ask that you reuse your existing HGBA travel uniform. 

When registering, please choose the grade your daughter is CURRENTLY in.  We will be dividing teams into A and B levels and will enter them into skill appropriate divisions.
