Knock Out Cancer Fundraiser

The 14th Annual “Knock Out Cancer” Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the South Shore Sports Center.

Knock Out Cancer was founded to raise money and awareness to fight breast cancer and was inspired by Janice Mannion as she battled cancer. Janice passed away in March 2016, but her desire that we continue to fight – and one day beat – cancer remains with us.

The Jimmy Fund has received the majority of the $210,000 raised through KOC.  Knock Out Cancer is a proud member of the Jimmy Fund Hall of Fame.

SNAP (Special Needs Athletic Partnership) members, mentors and families participate and support this fundraiser. South Shore SNAP is a non-profit organization providing athletic and recreational activities for South Shore children and young adults with different abilities and special needs.

Each year over 100 girls, boys, women and men participate in fun basketball competitions and bid on valuable silent auction prizes – most of all everyone has a fun time.  Join us this year to have some fun raising money and awareness for breast cancer research.  The program will run from 4:45 – 8:15 pm and will include a silent auction, hot shot and knock out contests for girls, boys and adults.
